Project Description: When an underground emergency leak was found to be flowing into the back area of University Unions’ Texas Union bowling alley, it was determined the sanitary tank was beginning to fail and would need to be replaced. An abatement team was brought in to drain the sanitary tank so that it could be demolished, as well as an abandoned tank. This allowed a project to install a new sanitary tank with a larger capacity and elevator sump pumps in a freight and passenger elevator pit. In addition, a storm water tank was installed to bring the bowling alley up to code.
