Planning supports The University of Texas at Austin by providing high-quality, award-winning services from pre-planning, long-range planning, master planning, and planning resources to guide the University’s mission, vision and programs through the built environment. We serve more than 20 million gross square feet of building space on the 427-acre main campus, 476-acre J.J. Pickle Research Campus, 445-acre Brackenridge Tract, and several other specialized sites across the state.
Planning is organized into three groups: Building Standards, Planning Resources and Integrated Planning and Design. These groups work within the larger Operations organization to develop effective solutions for our built environment.
