Project Summary

Repairs are being made to the pedestrian bridge connecting the Gary L. Thomas Energy Engineering Building (GLT) and the Engineering Education and Research Center (EER).

Project Location: Between GLT, 210 E. 24th St., and EER, 2501 Speedway, Austin, TX 78712.

Project Impacts

The pedestrian bridge connecting the Gary L. Thomas Energy Engineering Building (GLT) and the Engineering Education and Research Center (EER) is closed now through May 22. There are no ADA impacts associated with this closure. Pedestrians should use the ground floor to travel between GLT and EER. 

Due to the fluid nature of construction, this information is subject to change, but we will do our best to provide timely communication if changes are necessary.
