Project Summary
Accessibility improvements are being made to the crosswalk on Exploration Way at J.J. Pickle Research Campus.

Project Impacts
Traffic impacts: A small section of Exploration Way between the Bureau of Economic Geology Core Research Building (BE3) and the Bureau of Economic Geology Building (BEG) will be closed for construction. Exploration Way will not be open to through traffic. Traffic will be detoured via Creativity Trail, with access maintained in both directions. Signage will be posted to assist with wayfinding.
Pedestrian impacts: Portions of the surrounding sidewalks will be closed. Pedestrians should follow posted signage and use designated routes to navigate around the work area.
Bus impacts: Two bus stops will be impacted. Please refer to the Transit app for the most up-to-date information.
The SE Corner Road A/Road B bus stop (Stop ID 5369) for route 466, located at the corner of Exploration Way and Creativity Trail, will be closed. Riders should use the Braker/Burnet Stadium Rapid NW Corner (SB) bus stop (Stop ID 4682), located on the north side of West Braker Lane near Burnet Road.
The UT Research Campus Station (NB) bus stop (Stop ID 5724) for routes 466 and 803, located at the corner of Exploration Way and James Hart Trail, will be closed. Riders should use either the 10403 Burnet/Bright Verde bus stop (Stop ID 6456), located on the east side of Burnet Road near Bright Verde Way, or the 10401 Burnet/Bright Verde bus stop (Stop ID 6457), located on the west side of Burnet Road near Bright Verde Way.
The UT Research Campus Station (SB) bus stop (Stop ID 5876) for route 803 will remain open.
There are no parking or bicycle impacts.
