Project Summary 

The abbreviated Summary of Work is as follows:

  • Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall (ECJ)
  • The scope of work includes but is not limited to a substantial demolition and renovation of the 7th and 8th floors within the ECJ building, to include all architectural, MEP/HVAC, IT/AV services, furniture, and fire alarm/fire protection and other infrastructure elements back to the base core building of these floors and rebuilt in tandem. The 7th-floor scope of work contains approximately 8,016 USF, and the 8th-floor scope contains approximately 9,316 USF. The new renovation will be comprised of lab space, shared lab support, office space, service center space, support spaces, restrooms, and possible shell/growth space. This renovation will also include replacing certain components of the existing HVAC unit that services floors 7 through 10 floors and potentially installing new exhaust fan units
    on the roof of the building. (This unit sits on the 11th floor penthouse)
  • The general Construction Budget range for the project is approximately $12,000,000.00 to $14,000,000.00
