Project Description: The existing Mithoff Field House (MFH) facilities provided inadequate and dated meeting rooms, storage, locker rooms, and coach offices. The Texas Athletics Track & Field men’s and women’s and Soccer’s Field House renovation project was created to upgrade the Field House to that of comparable, competitive programs. Coaching staff recognized the need to provide program areas that were not currently provided at the Track & Field and Soccer Field House, as well as to refresh the dated facility. The project renovated all the Track & Field locker rooms, video and meeting rooms, as well as the Soccer women’s team locker rooms and video room. Locker rooms for officials and coaches were upgraded as well. The project also included a new hydrotherapy room and renovated training room. These upgrades not only provide essential services for athletes and coaches but also serve as recruitment tools.
