Amanda Barber
Executive Interim Director, Planning, Design and Construction
Amanda Barber leads a team of professionals responsible for project management, contracting, planning, design and construction operations throughout 20 million square feet of facilities across the UT main campus and multiple satellite campuses. Before joining The University of Texas at Austin, Amanda served as a Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer for 23 years, where she held facility construction project and program manager positions across the globe.
Amanda is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
