The scope involves the removal of the existing roofing assembly down to the structural deck, installation of a new high-performance roofing system, and remediation of structural deficiencies within the penthouse to ensure long-term building envelope integrity. This work is strategically phased to align with ongoing laboratory renovations on the upper floors, particularly the mechanical shaft upgrades. The preliminary budget, currently in the pre-design and programming phase, accounts for specialized access requirements and the complexities of working atop an active institutional research facility.
The budget for this project is $2,500,000.00 to $4,000,000.00
