Project Summary
The abbreviated Summary of Work is as follows:
F.L. Winship Drama Bldg. (WIN)
Replace approximately 50,000 square feet of roofing on all roof elevations of the Winship building, with the exception of the sky light roof area, using a two-ply modified bitumen roofing system backed by a 25 -year manufacturer’s warranty. Modify all MEP (Mechanical,Electrical,and Plumbing) disciplines as indicated in the sealed construction documents and perform structural roof deck repairs as required. Additionally, complete the following exterior building improvements:
• Replace approximately 4,000 square feet of windows on the 1960 building elevations.
• Repair damaged limestone.
• Repair damaged masonry and repoint all cracked and/or missing mortar joints on the exterior masonry walls of both the 1960 and 1974 building sections.
• Install fall protection systems as specified in the sealed construction drawings.
• Preform hazardous materials abatement for all applicable aspects of the project in accordance with the project’s specifications and regulatory requirements.
Preform pre-tab and post tab of all mechanical equipment in the construction drawings and project specifications.
All work shall be completed in accordance with the sealed construction documents, applicable building codes, manufacturer’s requirements, and all governing regulations.
- The general Construction Budget range for the project is approximately $6,000,000.00 to $6,600,000.00.
