Project Summary
The West Patio at Goldsmith Hall (GOL) is experiencing water leaks. Project entails removing and replacing the existing ramp, waterproofing, drains, and paving surface for repairs.
Project Location: The project is at the patio on the southwest corner of Goldsmith Hall.
Major Anticipated Outcomes/Benefits of Completed Project: Restoration Goldsmith Hall so it will no longer have standing water or leaks.
Pedestrian Impacts: While construction is underway, the accessible entrance on southwest side of the building will be closed. Pedestrians will be redirected to use the sidewalk along Guadalupe Street and enter through the accessible north entrance. Signage will be installed at key locations to assist with wayfinding.
Travel Impacts: No impacts.
Bicycle Impacts: No bicycle impacts. Bicyclists are encouraged to refer to the City of Austin Bike Map.
Parking Impacts: No impacts, but two 30 minutes loading zone will not be able to be used during construction. Parking impacts can be found here.
